Thursday Evening SFS Refresher Courses

In the refresher course you will learn more advanced skills in applying the 9 steps to Freedom in Christ, keeping in mind that these steps are not a formula but a means to a deeper more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and others.

Do you know what you were created for? Do you know why God made you? Do you know what your unique gifts are and how to use them for the glory of God? Do you have a vision for your life?
As people created in the image of God, we will never truly be satisfied until we come to understand what it is that God has called us to do with our lives. As Myles Munroe says in his book, the Principles and Power of Vision, "Your life is not a divine experiment, but a project of Providence to fulfill a purpose..."
Last January I challenged you to take personal inventory of your life. To make God the center of all you do. Some of you took up that challenge and I have been praying for you all year.
This year I want to challenge you to find your vision...really God's vision for your life...for "your vision is the key to fulfilling your life's purpose." (Myles Munroe). And once we know our life's purpose many of our hardships and struggles become much more tolerable or are even eliminated.
If you are struggling with apathy, uncertainty, confusion or even depression about your life let me encourage you to get a copy of The Principles and Power of Vision by Dr. Myles Munroe. Over the next three months I challenge you to commit to reading through this book and completing all the exercises. Please let me know if you have decided to take up this challenge of discovering God's purpose for your life. I would love to stand with you in faith and support you in prayer as you ask God to reveal His purpose for your life.
