Johnny Rafidi, BA, MA

Johnny Rafidi has a mission in life, that mission is to love God and to love others through teaching them how the Word of God applies to their everyday lives. This process of counseling others is a great privilege and is done in excellence seasoned with grace, mercy, and encouragement and of course challenges.

Mr. Rafidi provides counseling services to help those struggling with: anger, pornography, depression, anxiety, as well as marriage and relationship difficulties. His clientele includes both individuals and couples as well as couples seeking pre-marital guidance.

He is confident that God has called him to counseling, discipling, helping others, and enjoying the abundant life that only Jesus can provide!

He studied at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he graduated with his Master of Arts (MA) in Biblical Counseling; and studied at The College at Southeastern, a college of SEBTS where he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biblical Studies.

Counseling and discipleship related experiences include teaching the Bible to both children and adults, formal and informal discipleship of high school and college age students, as well as interning with three Christian Counselors in the local area.

Currently Mr. Rafidi is serving as a discipleship intern at his church.

In addition to the Word of God, there are two sayings that he takes to heart: "Preach what you practice" and "People don't care that you know until they know that you care."

May God be glorified as we seek Him for the hope of our soul!

One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ Matthew 22:35-39
