My name is Thomas Purnell, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Barrington, Illinois. I received my Master’s degree education in Counseling from Trinity International University. Since 2000 I have been working with Adolescents and Families and specialize in family dynamics and helping pre-teens and teenagers transition to adulthood healthily. I also co-lead a men's therapy group and enjoy working in group counseling settings.

Examples of core issues addressed in counseling include: forgiveness, individuals with adjustment difficulties, couples and family issues, and people in transitions in their life.

Some of my specialties are young adults transitioning to independence, parent coaching and men's issues.
