My name is Sharon Jones and I have been in the same location at the Episcopal Counseling Center in Melbourne for the past nineteen years. I am a professional Christian counselor and believe that a person’s health is comprised of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

My practice is composed of adults and adolescents with an emphasis on grief, trauma and depression. I am an EMDR practitioner and a certified crisis responder for the State of Florida, Brevard County and Kennedy Space Center.

Community workshops that I have presented recently include Suicide: Signs and Symptoms, Workplace Violence, and Perinatal Loss. I conduct peer support training in a number of areas to law enforcement members.

Rob Bedworth, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, obtained his Master’s degree in Social Work in 2002, and has been licensed since 2004. Recognizing the importance of having specialized training in the area of addictions, after licensure he went on to become a Certified Addictions Professional. Additionally, he is a member of the largest Christian counseling association in America the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Linda Hedstrom, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida. She is the owner and operator of Therapeutic Counseling Services located in Land O Lakes, Florida.

Born and raised in Miami, Linda received her Master’s degree in social work from Barry University in Miami. During her academic career she also worked for a Christian Ministry in South Florida which provides residential treatment for teenagers with behavioral problems as well as special support services for single parents.

Additionally, Linda has extensive experience working with special needs students and emotionally handicapped children: Her experience includes working in various school systems, including an inner-city school, a psychiatric center, and teaching Special Education as a Job Placement Transition Specialist at a the high school level. Respecting each child’s right to talk about things when they are ready is paramount to Linda’s approach with children.

In coordination with her education, life experiences and relationship with God, one of Linda’s strengths is to easily make personal connections with most of her clients. My name is Marie Wolfe and I have been practicing psychotherapy, Christian life-coaching (discipling), and traditional social work since 1995.

I have been a Biblically-based Christian since 1995. Prior to my baptism, I was raised in a Roman Catholic family and spent my adolescence and young adulthood as an atheist. My background allows me to relate to and have empathy for everyone, no matter where they are in their spiritual lives and relationship with God.

I have worked in a variety of settings with a variety of populations including Christian adoptions; child welfare; foster care; treatment of children ages 3 – 18; elderly homeless; Christian recovery for addictions and codependency; crisis intervention in the schools and community; individual and group therapy for adults of all ages and areas of diversity; and Christian life-coaching.

I received my Masters in Social Work from New York University, one of the best schools in the country. I maintain a license in clinical social work (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

I also teach Psychology as an adjunct instructor at the college level and teach Biblical parenting and Christian living classes at my church. Teaching and counseling are my two greatest passions after being a wife and mother.
