Michele has been in private practice, as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida since 2000. With a background in massage therapy, she is uniquely qualified to address mind/body issues in counseling. Additionally, she works with chronic pain and health concerns through a body-focused awareness.

Michele is a Christian and therefore can address issues from a biblical point of view. Depression, anxiety, stress or fear (or whatever issue you are dealing with) can all be used by Christ to transform us into what He wants us to be. Counseling is an exploration of you. Discovering how you cope, what brings you joy and what needs have to be met for you.

She has some basic principals that create her foundation of counseling. One foundational truth is we have feelings, we are not our feelings. We have thoughts, we are not our thoughts. Becoming aware of thoughts and feelings, knowing the difference and then challenging them, as to whether or not those thoughts and feeling are accurate is paramount in understanding who we are and how we see ourselves and others.Michele has an eclectic style of counseling. She is intuitive and has created a safe place for you to express your concerns.
