My name is Kathy Coleman. I am a native of Missouri, attended undergraduate school at the University of Missouri, St. Louis (UMSL), receiving a B.A. in Psychology and my M.A. in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC)practicing at R & R Counseling, Center For Hope, LLC.
I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Missouri Mental health Counseling Association (MMHCA).
I provide therapy and counseling for individuals, couples, families, and groups. I am committed to providing a confidential, therapeutic relationship that is both safe and supportive.I strongly believe in the effectiveness of psychotherapy (talk therapy) as an aid to healing.
I believe we are triune beings; we are spirits, we possess a soul and live in a body. I do not believe we can effectively treat one part while neglecting the whole. You can expect to address issues such as healthy eating, proper rest, spirituality, hope, support, and the like. The integrative approach combines different therapeutic methods specific to the individual and the individual situation. The holistic approach recognizes that every aspect of life contributes to healing.
As a Mental Health professional, I realize I do not have all the answers, but I have faith in the Lord Jesus, and I know He does have the answers. I have a desire, training, and resources to help. Stop existing and start living; you can experience restoration and recovery. Contact me at (314)229-5264 or visit ucan-recover to see if my practice is right for you.
